What happens after I apply for early access?
We review your business and how you work today. Approved businesses get a private link to create their account, then use SitterWorks free for their first 12 months.
Do you take a cut of what my clients pay?
No. Clients pay your business through your own Stripe account. Stripe charges its card fee to you directly, and you see it in your Stripe dashboard. SitterWorks takes 0% and adds no markup to Stripe's fee.
What counts as a booking?
One reservation is one booking. A stay of several nights counts once. A repeating daycare or walk counts once for each day it happens. Rides attached to a booking are not counted. Clients and pets are never counted.
What happens if I go over 50 bookings on Solo?
Nothing stops working and you are never charged extra. We let you know, and that month of Pro is free, up to 4 times in any 12 months. Moving to Pro is always your choice.
Why is there a $20 fee to turn on texting?
Texting is coming soon to Pro, and this is how it will work. US phone carriers require every business that texts customers to register first. The carriers charge the fee, and we pass it along at cost. It applies once, on a monthly Pro plan only, and registration usually takes 1 to 3 weeks. Texts are for booking and care messages, not marketing. Texting stops for the month at 1,500 texts as a safety limit, and we can raise it if you ask.
What if I stop paying?
Your account pauses instead of closing. You can still sign in, see everything, and download your data. Your data is kept for 120 days, with reminders along the way, and coming back restores everything.
Can I get a refund?
Yearly plans can be canceled for a full refund within 30 days of being charged. Monthly plans are not refunded, but you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
